Also, Hyde is a better back than Darrell Williams. He's not the starter. We're still going to gradually work in Darwin Thompson, who possesses way more big play upside than Hyde, but that's not we're using Hyde for. He's here to be the backup on 1st and 2nd downs and take a few snaps to keep everybody fresh.

That's it. His presence doesn't mean we're cutting Darrell Williams, and even if it did, I don't know why people are so obsessed with him-- personally, I think he kinda sucks.

O.City thinking we should cut Hyde and flip a pick for another Hyde-like RB is among the dumber things I've read on this forum all week. You'd be burning a draft pick for ****ing nothing. "But it's just a 6th rounder..." you mean a 6th rounder like Darwin Thompson, or a developmental OL prospect like LDT? Sure, spend those picks if it makes you a better team, but don't just burn them on NOTHING.

Wow. Before camp, I had pretty much counted out Kemp as far as re-claiming his spot on the 53, but now I'm thinking he's not only in the discussion, but he's probably got a lead on most other guys competing for those final two spots.

You and trading picks, man. And for the strangest reasons.
Brett Veach was on 810 yesterday and was asked if he would rather trade up or trade down if he had to with every pick.

"trade up."

The Chiefs like Tremon Smith's speed, but is it really that good?

I know Devin McCourty is sorta fast(ish)?, but should he be able to catch up to Smith like this?

I kinda wish we'd give Darwin Thompson a try on kickoffs.

More undrafted players are successful than players drafted in rd 4-7. Mark Fields will prove that when he kicks Fenton’s ass to the curb

I get your larger point, but the fact that we were 7 ppg worse when Robinson started last year isn't a great argument for not trading Robinson.
