So a suggestion: Instead of folding the bread in half, what about using two pieces of bread to seal like a big ravioli (or what you'd put in your Sandwich Maker, and don't pretend you don't have one).

I was being sarcastic, only did it for a laugh, I did take a bite and that shit was nasty. I did have a Sandwich Maker at one point in time, pretty sure it got thrown away.
