Mahomes seems like a quick study with the ability to retain information. He should have learned any and all things worth listening to from Andy Reid by the end of this season. Everything from that point on would just be superfluous bullshit, with nothing left that could influence his game in a positive manner.
Chiefs should send Reid on to his next teaching job and pick whoever they like from the "tree", and get on with the business of bringing trophies home. |

And if he doesn't win a SB, he will probably voluntarily retire before getting fired, because he will realize it's time to go. He's that kinda guy. |

Well the useless son of a bitch is still our head coach, so the SB is prolly out, let's just pray the mother****er doesn't do enough of his usual shit, along with his shit-ass O-line he master-minded into existence, to have our FQB turned into hamburger...

Id take Reid over any coach in the league. Reid will win multiple championships in KC. Anyone bitching about Reid is ****ing reeruned and this dumb ass thread was started by the biggest reerun on CP.
After we make the playoffs this year itll be the 6th time under Reid. He's only been here 7 years. The Chiefs had the #1 pick in the draft and just came off a season in which we scored 211 points and gave up 425, a -214 point differential, so the average score of our games was 13 - 27. We were 2-14 and then Reid came in and took us to the playoffs in our very first year. We have won the division 3 straight years and this year will make it 4. In our history we have never won the division in back to back years, ever. So let's not act like winning the division is a given, especially considering since we became an NFL team we have only won the division 9 times. Yeah he's so terrible, ****ing reeruns. |

What has Reid ever done to give you the impression that he'll make the correct adjustment at the proper time?

1) Championships will not come within 1,000 yards of Andy Reid. Like the Marty before him, the league has placed a restraining order on any and all Super Bowls requiring them to keep a minimum distance of 1,000 yards from Andy Reid at all times. He's been coaching in this league for decades, and even his most ardent supporters can not EVEN begin to claim that he never had a team with championship potential. 2) Andy Reid's coaching tree has proven itself far more effective than Andy Reid. Andy Reid may have zero situational awareness both during games and at the myriad of other head coaching duties, but his understudies do NOT have that problem. And why should they? When you are standing outside looking in, you can clearly identify the things that are working and the things that are NOT. You can easily break down the methods that have value, and discard the things that are worthless. I guaran-****ing-tee you there wasn't one single soul in the entirety of the Eagles fan base that was excited about having Doug Pederson come in as the head coach of that football team. But when Pederson demonstrated his ability to utilize the positive things he was taught while discarding the maddening bullshit that made Eagles fans want to kick Reid in the nuts, they came to appreciate him pretty damned quickly. And when you think about what he accomplished after the complete ****ing disaster that was Chip Kelly, that's Coach of the Year material. Easily. You can be the most knowledgeable and prepared coach in the history of the NFL, but that does not guarantee success. You can have the craziest and most wizard playbook in the history of the forward pass, and that does not guarantee success. Nothing in this league can really guarantee success. But two things can absolutely guarantee failure; the inability to cease stepping on your own dick, and the inability to identify and correct your errors. Andy Reid has those two negative qualities in SPADES. |

Coming in to Philadelphia post Chip Kelly, fixing his uber-tarded **** ups, and heading out to a Super Bowl victory shortly thereafter. Oh, and it didn't take 7 years. Shit, it didn't even take 5. |
