If Ray gets double digit sacks after he leaves Denver, Elway looks like a tool.

This means Ray will play out the final year of his rookie deal and then become a free agent next March. The former No. 23 overall pick recorded four sacks as a rookie and doubled it to eight in 2016, but Ray then missed half of last season with a wrist injury and managed just one sack in eight games. The Broncos just took EDGE Bradley Chubb at No. 5 overall to pair with All-Pro Von Miller. It's fair to wonder if the Broncos could shop Ray before Week 1.
It's too bad Ray got injured last season, had that not happened, he could have had a heck of a year. Now with Chubb, it was hard to justify paying him $9m+ . the good news is he can have a helluva year and make bank when he becomes a FA. I seriously doubt the Broncos will trade him, I think they will let him play out the season, hope he has a monster season (10+ sacks) and then let him go via FA. He's a good kid, he just needs to play more.

4. It should be said, too, that the Broncos were over the moon pleased to get Bradley Chubb, as evidenced by the visceral reaction in the war room when Denzel Ward came off the board at 4. As far back as February, Vance Joseph was drawing up ways that he’d use Chubb in tandem with fellow edge rushers Von Miller, Shane Ray and Shaquil Barrett. It just never seem realistic that Chubb would get to Denver at 5. Until he did.

Broncos kicked butt in their UDFAs too. I won't be surprised if 3 UDFAs make the 53 man roster this coming season... Broncos have a tendency to find great UDFAs.

Chiefs will force Denver to play zone limiting their pass rush.

Line up 5 wide with Watkins and Hill on both sides and Kelce in the slot. If they try to put any of them in single coverage, Mahomes will make them pay.

Here is one of the plays- I think the Chiefs are in trouble.
