That's why "if" was correct in that sentence.

There was a smaller group that was showing symptoms, no exact number given, but 34 positives out of that group.
So 92 people who are asymptomatic and 32 with symptoms?

The exact number that presented with symptoms was not disclosed, but of the symptomatic group, 34 tested positive.

The rest are asymptomatic. There's still a large number of people who are asymptomatic that are being tested as well. We won't have those results until Saturday at the earliest. Possibly Monday.

Elon Musk is on quite the twitter rampage these past couple days, railing against the restrictions. I'm a huge fan of his in general, but it's kind of hilarious to me when he shows his full libertarian side and people are surprised.

I disagree. The "or not" is implied by "whether." It is optional.

If you just try to remember to reserve the word "if" for conditional statements, you will get it right the next time.

So, do we think he's doing this because he needs that market cap to stay up so he can get that massive payout?

And there's still a lot more testing to be done. The final numbers will be interesting..

The question I wish we had an answer to is what % of the asymptomatic crowd is actually pre-symptomatic.

I was just thinking today that our county should be close to 0 in Rt since we haven't had a case in over a couple of weeks. But we just had another case and one more death of a man over 70.

Like I mentioned earlier our inpatient was asymptomatic even with bilateral pneumonia, not sure what his labs or lungs were clinically but I find that still weird.

No. Read that sentence again substituting "if" with "whether" and without the addition of "or not." Like I said, it wouldn't make any sense.

Consider yourself schooled, immigrant.

QED.
