Oh cmon son, I'm sure there are regular Joes that could make football decisions. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know Ramsey makes the Chiefs a better team.

GMs are typically guys that have come up in football and know the game well. Scouts, personnel guys, former coaches and players...but that doesn't mean that every GM out there is a football genius. These guys have so many resources around them to help make decisions – just like any business leader.

It's not like Brett Veach sits around with a calculator trying to figure the cap out. He has a team of people that focus solely on that. He has a team of scouts making recommendations. His job is to analyze what's out there and say yes or no...handle negotiations.

I'm confident there are absolutely regular Joes out there who could do this and do it well.

The point is if Ramsey is the #1 CB like people say he should be elite. So far he’s been piss poor and Ward and Breeland have done better

Again, you are comparing someone who went against Elite Talent 2 weeks in a row, to trash.

Trade for Ramsey, then get a haul for Jones after franchise tagging him. Recover some of the draft capital you gave up for Ramsey, and use it to add a cheaper DL option.

I love Chris Jones, but that's not a bad business decision at all.

Who are you going to replace Chris Jones with, and Passrushers/DL are more important because of their affect on both the run and passing game.

Hence, their price tag is 2nd to QBs in pay scale.

Cause if they had to go against our offense they wouldn't have been roasted right?

Ramsey held Hopkins to 40 yards, the Chiefs offense is special it makes all pros look shitty.
