Daniel Sorenson is just playing his role. No one could possibly suck this bad. Has to be rigged. It's the only reasonable explanation.

At what point do we have no other choice but to root for an injury?

I love Dirty Dan, but this guy shouldn’t be on the field at all at this point.

Draft scouting reports are still pretty spot on, with the exception that Sorensen now can't even tackle. Heck, even Devon Key is worth a shot over DD at this point...although Reid would probably insist on bringing up the other Mormon on the practice squad.

Neimann is possibly the worst linebacker in football. Next to Niemann, Hitchens looks like a hero. Perhaps you should take some time and watch the all-22, just so you can understand the scope of Neimann's ineptitude.

Hitchens, Gay and Bolton played with energy and looked good from a watching the game live perspective.

Seems like Niemann will take less defensive snaps just from other guys being healthy.

I think Chiefs will be a top half of the league defense with everybody healthy. Even Jarran Reed has been playing with more energy the last two games.

Sorenson earned his way onto field for defensive snaps and had great 2019 postseason.

He has always been vulnerable in one on one, but he has been especially bad this year. Seems like his only contribution is on pass rush.

Seems like Sorenson and Niemann will be getting less snaps. I would assume Spags listens to his position coaches and it is time for position coaches to take a stand and take away snaps and coach up guys to be the ones getting the snaps.

THIS.

Unless Watts is the worst safety in the history of football (and that would still probably make him better than Sorensen at this point), there is nothing to lose by playing Watts over Sorensen.

If he is worse than Sorenson at least make him prove it. Maybe it'll take a few games for them to catch on at least.

Andy and his coaching staff continue to go out of their way to be too loyal to crappy players.

Exhibit A… completely unprompted during his postgame press conference yesterday, Andy praised Andrew Wylie’s play at RT.

JFC stop insulting everyone’s intelligence, including your own players who can smell bullshit.

This.

The reason you have a guy like Sorenson (or Niemann) on the field is because they know the playbook and their assignments. Even elite athleticism will get watered down if a guy doesn't mentally know what he's doing out there.

The issue is that Sorenson (and Niemann) is playing like a guy that doesn't know what he's supposed to do. He's not getting to his deep zones, he's not handing off routes right, he's got no technique in man coverage. He's making MENTAL mistakes and on top of that, he's not athletic.

He needs to not be on the field at all anymore. He's not a quality backup, let alone starter.
