DJ beat me to it but This is my favorite pick of the draft!
Thats saying something because I love our draft from top to bottom. I Love Bad Ass Line Backers and fell in love with this guy after looking at all the LBrs. I didnt think the Chiefs would look at the position high enough to be in on Leo, I thought he was the best LB in the draft. Really liked the Anderson kid too. I cant believe he is a Chief!! GREAT pick!! I think he will be damn good in coverage as well, just wasnt asked to do it much. Hes BIG, Hes Fast, hes Smart and hes VIOLENT!! Now thats a Linebacker!! |

Lock him in a pass rush camp with Tamba and keep him at pass rusher. I bet he can do at least a serviceable job. It's not like we have many more alternatives so why not?

I really wanted Nakobe Dean but I have to admit it is really nice not to have to think about all those injuries that have happened or are yet to happen.
Nakobe Dean could the Bob Sanders of this draft I fear. I'm glad that instead we have a wall of meat like Chenal. It's kind of like how I don't have to worry about Pickens' attitude. I was prepared for it and now I don't have to do it. |

Wisconsin's ILBs have called themselves Death Row for a little while now and they have to earn it amongst their peers. We should not try to adopt it here, Chenal would not approve.

Wonder if they're planning on him playing more of a hybrid rusher/lb role

After watching highlights I have to think this is our line knifing sam right? The guy looks plenty capable of engaging or knifing blocks. Probably some rush upside as an overhang? Or maybe he and gay are interchangeable since they both have speed and size?

Yeah, similar to how they used some of the past Sam's. I'd think he woudl be pretty ideal for that.

I bet this dude would’ve worn Affliction shirts back in 2009. I’m sure he’s punched his fair share of drywall too.

Agreed. We should call something like "The Messengers of the Apocalypse," and they are there to deliver a message.

When was the last time our linebackers looked this good on paper?
Even Carter had like 80 tackles last year… Incredible two year turn around. |
