Mickey Mantle I'm sure of for the 50s.

70s one is tough - seems like Mike Schmidt or maybe Jim Rice?

50's has got to be Willie Mays or Mickey Mantle.

70's? Someone from Big Red Machine? Bench or Foster? Maybe Willie Stargell?

MLB.com has created a list of top hitting prospects -
Quote:
Royals: Diego Hernandez, OF (No. 30)
The 21-year-old outfielder is riding a 27-game on-base streak for Quad Cities, tying him with two others for the longest such stretch in High-A ball this season. (Entering Tuesday, his was the only active streak of the three.) He’s hitting .365/.441/.538 with 11 extra-base hits and 13 steals in those 27 games -- numbers that helped push him into the Royals’ Top 30 when MJ Melendez graduated. Hernandez is a plus-plus runner and gifted defender in center, so if these offensive improvements hold at the upper levels, he has a chance to be a valuable fourth Major League outfielder at the least.

No idea, but probably a Yankee like Jeter who played in a million playoff games.
Rickey?
I know Brett hit a few in the 70s, but they play so many more games now with the wildcard and division series.

Brett has to be one. He led the league in triples like 4 times in the 70’s. Imagine he had several in the postseason. I also know he had 2 in the 85 playoffs when he was older. Getting to 5 doesn’t seem like much of a stretch.

Rickey Henderson is a good guess as well, although he didn’t appear in a lot of playoff games.

And maybe the Indians CF from the 90’s. He was fast as hell and I seem to remember Cleveland in several post season games in the mid to late 90’s.

So Brett, Rickey and Kenny Lofton (just thought of it). That’s my guess.
