*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Did you guys know that there are only 9 QB’s in NFL history who have thrown 40 TD passes in a season?

Did you know that only 4 QB’s have thrown for 40 TD passes in a season 2X? They would be Manning, Brady, Rodgers, Brees and Marino.

Pat is going to blow that record the **** up. I really wouldn’t be shocked if he threw 40 TD passes in a season 10X

Heinz stock is cratering today, has lost 50% of its value since Patrick Mahomes signed with competitor Hunts

In today's news Kraft Heinz's stock has plummeted to an all-time low. When asked for a reason all analyst have pointed to the ketchup endorsement of Patrick Mahomes with rival Hunts. Sources say since Mahomes started endorsing Hunts ketchup Kraft has sold less than 100 bottles in the Kansas City market and less than 1,000 nationwide. One analyst from CNBC was asked if it was the SEC probe or the massages on the CEO or any other reasons. He said demonstrably, "No! This is Patrick!"

It's true. You can look it up yourself. Heinz' ticker symbol is NAMBLA.

I actually looked up the stock values. Heinz took a nose dive in late February. Conagra (which owns Hunt's) did not see that same drop in February and is doing much better YTD than they started.

Was there some sort of ketchup bubble that burst in late February that eviscerated Heinz, or is it actually all Patrick Mahomes?

Here's an excellent article about the upcoming Mahomes' contract and building the team around him: https://www.theringer.com/nfl-previe...ract-extension
