Good for him. He's had one heck of a journey to get here.

Finally! Either sink or swim, it’s high time we see what this kid can do. I’m not saying the Royals should’ve called him up earlier as much as am speaking to his overall journey.

So who is getting DFA'd? Hopefully it's Duda or BHam, don't really care which.

I would imagine it’s either Duda or Gore. They’re the two least valuable and most expendable pieces.

Not really surprised. There's going to be a log jam in the OF unless they send Lopez down. And worst case I bet they hang on to Hamilton in case Bubba seriously struggles. |

Facebook Royal Fan is going to be in for a surprise when they find out Bubba is actually just a fringe MLB player offensively, and will rely on his defense to provide value to the team.
Phillips has been just as good or better than Bubba this year but nobody talks about him. He started slow but has really decreased his strikeout numbers as has been talked about on this thread already I believe. Phillips is also elite defensively. Who is better defensively - Bubba or Phillips? |

Phillips has the better arm (though Bubba still has a cannon), but Starling is a superior defender overall... at least from what I can gather from scout breakdowns. |

I get wood just thinking about Bubba and Maverick in the same OF defensively. I really hope they can hit enough to stick.
