That shit lasts a few weeks at most if it's not backed up by actual competent coaching.

Pierce was smart enough to bring in vet coaches like Tom Coughlin, Marvin Lewis,(for the defense), and Adam Gase as advisors/mentors. He seems to understand he needs coaching help.

He’s def an underdog when it comes to coaching in the AFC WEST.

Tom Coughlin and Adam Gase are known as two of the coaches who have been involved in the most dramatic mismanagement of franchises and people in the last decade. Nice work.

And Marvin Lewis was...the Bengals.

Remember when Reid was fired before coming to KC? Remember the threads in here that wanted him fired before PM? Remember Belichick getting fired before NE? Remember the no name LB coach for the Raiders that got hired as HC? (Madden)

Having said that, I have no clue as to the success for the current Raider staff but judge cautiously.....
