CINCINNATI — DeAndre Hopkins might've had productive visits in Nashville and Foxboro, but the star wide receiver is still hoping to land with a legitimate Super Bowl contender according to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer.

"He's still holding out hope that he's going to play for a contender, like a true contender like a Buffalo or Kansas City," Breer said on NBC Sports Boston.

The NFL insider believes Hopkins could land in Kansas City if the Chiefs are able to sign Chris Jones to a long-term extension and lower the cap hit of their star defensive tackle.

Buffalo can't afford him. They're in a cap crunch with no relief in a couple of years.

He is ours!!!!!

Dalvin Cook want's to join Hopkins [in KC].

"If we can get up on the same roster and be on the same team, that will be the beauty of the situation," Cook said.

Albert Breer knows jack shit about what is going on inside of this organization. This is 100% speculation and all Breer is doing is making an educated guess. Nothing more than that.
