Dayton is so ****ing bad at developing pitchers. 16 years here and he has had 1 guy that was even above average, Yordano. He's drafted so many pitchers in the first round and some of them were very high draft picks. None of them have amounted to shit. The guy is a ****ing pathetic douche that had the most insane luck and got us 1 title and 1 WS loss. **** I hate him |

Meanwhile the Kirilloff has a AAA slash line of .370/.477/.661 (1.139 OPS) with nearly as many BBs as strikeouts. He's had a 1.600 OPS in June. There are no service time concerns with him given his prior big league experience. So I guess I say that to say this - never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity. The Royals, like the Twins right now, may just be very very stupid. |

Eldred was, is, and always will be a mistake. I said so when they hired him and basically the first things out of his mouth were how he didn’t trust or want to use analytics/data.
It’s the same type of nonsense Save Stewart was parroting when he became GM of the DBacks, and they’re just now recovering from it. |

I just realized the Athletics record ( 21 - 43 ) is worse than the Royals ( 21 - 41 ). Who is pitching for the Royals today ?

Keith Law left Pasquantino off his top 100 altogether? Bold move by Keith there.

He was absolutely lucky. For a guy that never hits on trades or free agents, he went on a streak where everything he did worked. Shitty guys had career years. History shows Dayton has no ****ing clue how to run a winning club.

Kris Bryant is in year 1 of a 7/182 deal. Symborski said ZIPS out it at about 7/85. He is hurt already after hitting 0HR in 71 PA
At least we don’t have a dog deal like that on our roster |
