What went wrong against the Broncos?

From 27-0, to.... that.

In a few weeks, nobody is really going to care what the game looked like, only that we got the W.

But for tonight, and for the next few days, I want to know what changed between 27-0 and the end.

That 3rd and one call...to the fullback was humorous.

Everyone and their mother knew that was potentially the play...call the most predictable short-yardage play at a crucial moment? They've used that at least a dozen times in the past..

You'll also notice the Mahomes stops running and starts taking sacks...There was a play in the AFCCG where he had an easy 1st...he actually scrambled to the LOS, stopped, danced around then got sacked. There was nothing but green grass in front of him...it was very strange and out of character....as was the 3rd INT yesterday.

Also one against touching the officials.

Don't know why none of those penalties got called?

You can't say "they musta missed it" or "how could they not call that!?"

Those obvious penalties are intentionally not called.

We can all agree on THAT much...

On that same play, or maybe ANOTHER one in the same game where Mahomes had a wide open swath of field in front of him, he could've either ran for the 1st down...or flipped a TD to a wide open Kelce in the end zone, a throw Mahomes and Kelce have made a hundred times already...

It's the truth.

Mahomes is either a terrible actor or he's trolling the NFL, because when he 'makes mistakes' he looks like he's never played QB before.

Except at the end of the AFC Championship Game vs the Bengals...when Patrick unleased that pass in the OT period and Tyreek straight volleyed it into the air like he was setting it for the Bengals defender that picked it at 13 seconds into the OT period.

You can't make this shit up.

? I'm pretty sure it has. I distinctly remember the announcer calling out Burton's name on a FB dive. It was effective early in the season a couple times at least. it hasn't been as effective the last three or so times.

Unless we’re at the goal line, I’m just not a fan of short yardage offense with this team in general.

We have the best player in the game at QB. He’s a magician and he’s mobile. Just keep the ball in his hands, even on third and inches. You also have the benefit of almost every rule change benefiting the passing game. There are so many opportunities to pick up the first when Mahomes has the ball: completion, scramble, penalty, etc.

Trust Mahomes to make plays in key situations. This isn’t the 90’s anymore.

Right. Bring back the QB sneak. It’s beyond high time.
