Just seeing the final score, guys.

Nice, looks like they had lots of energy throughout and took care of business against an inferior team.

Nothing to talk about here, can't wait for conference play to finally start in a couple weeks.

Oof. Kansas was favored by 15.5.

Yale hit a meaningless 3 with 45 seconds left to cut it to 15. Kansas didn’t score again.

Hope no one got burnt on that one.

Not at all. They were behind for the majority of the first half. It was a terrible start.

Same with UConn.
UConn has been the clear exception this year for this team out of the dozen or so games they've played now. They played at their high gear for the entire time.

True, for the most part. That's why I'm not usually too concerned. I mean I know they could lose any of these games. But usually they are the more talented and/or the better coached team. I don't like Slow starts but I'm glad this team is capable of overcoming that.
Lord knows we've had teams that were not capable of that.

Best of all, we didn't have anybody saying we were gonna lose the game today halfway through the game thread.

How they play these games (or even whether they win or lose these games) doesn't matter too much to me at this point. I'm concerned only to the point that this team's propensity to coast for long periods reflects a lack of depth.

Similar to last year, a lack of depth can be enough to bite a team like this if they run into a team in the tournament that fouls a ton. What happens if McCullar gets in foul trouble? Or any of the big 4?

Timberlake looked playable today (for the first time all season?), but it was against a bunch of non-athletic Yale guys playing a style of basketball reminiscent of the game 30+ years ago. They need a lot more out of Elmarko/Furphy/McDowell in the 2nd half of the season.

OK I say it all the time but I just don’t give a ****. I enjoy watching McCullar play. I love his brand of basketball. He might be my Releford 2.0.

Harris brought some energy tonight and that’s excellent. He’s just really ****ing good defensively.

It was good to finally get rolling.

But am I the only one that hates the flagrant call there? That’s still a basketball play he just got beat. Not a fan of that kind of officiating at all.

The KenPom has dropped to 15, lowest it has been since the 2021 season. Panic time?

Why do we seem to start slow in about 95% of our games?

Later in the game, we play like champions. Seems like a pattern.
