Buzz, your food always looks good and I like how easy most of it is to cook.
Mind sharing how you did the Carna Asada tacos the other night? |

It didn't start off as Carna Asada, coworker was telling me how he would buy tri tip and cook it like a steak. I saw a package at Aldi and thought that was what he was talking about. Turns out it was thin sliced for Carna Asada written on the package, looked it up and put it in the slow cooker. Pretty sure the rest of it was already mentioned in some previous posts. I would go into more detail but the battery on the lap top is about to die. Gonna have to catch you on the flip side. |

Wife picked up some jalepeno cheddar brat burgers. Threw on some season salt. Applied fire and finished on the grill with gates. They were damn good. Since I was doing it I slathered some gates on some ballpark hotdogs. That's pretty damn tasty too.

Moroccan Beef stir-fry—thinly sliced sirloin, cumin, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cayenne. Cooked in tomato sauce, apricots, chickpeas and sliced almonds on top. Supposed to add dates, but that turned me off and didn't want to spend $6 for 6 of them. Called to be served over couscous which sounds great, but it's wheat so I can't have it. I used quinoa instead.
Fresh citrus fruit for dessert. It cooled the heat down, though that wasn't too hot. Sorry for the lighting in the pic with the extreme light and shadows. |

This should be re-named the pizza and jalapeno/Mexican thread.

Corn on the cob, potatoes, chicken thighs, and German sausage. Cooked it all in the can cooker. Now it's time to watch the Royals and drink a few beers.

My wife made me a bomb as Vietnamese pork sandwich and homemade carrot cake for my birthday. I slammed the sandwich before I could even thinking about taking a pic. I'll take a pic of the cake when I have my second piece.
