I'd pay him up to $15M with a good chunk of it being incentives. Any more than that, I move on to Tyrod Taylor.

Sam Bradford is always hurt. You get what you pay for Knowmo, and behind that OL? Yikes.

Tyrod Taylor is scheduled to make $18 million next year. I doubt he wants less than that if he goes to Denver.

Who knows when Luck will be back. Palmer, Rivers, and Roethlisberger have openly flirted with retirement. Who's to say a team like the Browns don't want a veteran AND a draft pick? If the Broncos plan is free agency, there's potential for a ton of competition.

See, VJ was a good up and coming DC - he hadn't even had time to make his mark at that level yet.
