Agreed. It SOUNDS like the off-season work by Pratto and Melendez helped them a bunch, plus Witt showed out in camp and probably accelerated his debut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

1) Lacy is advanced enough that if they were staying in the race, he would have been brought up to give them innings out of the pen 2) Lynch was the best pitcher in the extended camp I think it was a good developmental year for all of them. Hopefully Kowar worked hard on his breaking ball or cutter and made some progress. |

Entire Central division booted out in the first round. We knew this was a pattern for the Twins, but Indians continue to show they peaked in 2016 and the Sox are either not ready for prime time or are not built to make a deep run.

Well the Twins and Indians both went .500 against the Royals. You knew they weren't ready for prime time.

Padres are putting up a fight. Entertaining game. It would have been a set back to be beat by an inferior team as they're ascending as an organization.

I've never been a big Yasiel Puig fan, but maybe at this point in his career he's not too expensive and he "feels like playing baseball". Royals could use someone that can hit.
