We were never going to get an elite front 4 with the way the offseason worked out. But we can get a hard as nails back 7 that covers |

This is probably my favorite pick of the draft because it has floor AND an enormous ceiling.
Chenel is immediately a great run defender and solid pass rusher. That can bring value in its own right and make him a solid Sam prospect in base packages. And he has every physical tool you could ask for in becoming a good coverage player. He’s simply never been asked to do it. And it’s going to take some time to learn how. His feel in space will take some time. But there’s legit horse 3-down backer potential. He can do some of the Devin White stuff where he gets downhill right now on 3rd downs with the ability to eventually just be a solid coverage player and thus be a real difficult guy to read and gameplan for. I haven’t fully settled on ‘ranking’ picks, but he’s up there. Hard to find anything to not be excited about here. |

Spags definitely has some guys that he can blitz with.

I wonder if Chiefs will use a 7th or a UDFA on Leo Chenal brother, John Chenal, a FB for Wisconsin Badgers.
Michael Burton was solid last year, but Chiefs are a team that keeps a FB, and maybe he would be a good backup or practice squad guy. |

No. You don't get a new fullback. You a fullback at home that you barely even play with.

I’m not drafting a FB. A FB should be an UDFA at best unless it’s Mike Alstott |
