The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

I think it kicks off at 0730. Sort of a breakfast run. But I think it runs up until about noon. Last time I went we didn't even get there until about 1030.
But no official start time per se. |

Dunno if the stand is still there but they used to have a food truck there that served deep fried biscuits and gravy.
Holy shit. Probably the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. |

Probably around 6am or 7am. Mainly because I have to be back around 2pm ish. I figure I would just take 35 south on the way down there, which is about 2.5 hrs, and take a route I've gone before on the way back that goes through Council Grove. That particular rout is about 3-3.5 hrs if I recall.

Yeah, it sucks I gotta be back fairly early. So I'm still debating. Last time I went I had the entire day free so there was no real schedule etc. |
