The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

Months, it's amazing how overpriced crap bikes are...
Found it up in Burlington Junction....No sludge in case, tank was CLEAN, rebuilt brakes, new speedo..rewired...butt ton of extra parts...30k...getting new exhaust, tires and steering bearings. I'm s.t.o.k.e.d.! |

100 year old technology, air cooled bike, but $$$. Victory's are engineered way better and are probably more reliable....but I still love the HD, even though it's over priced. You planning on keeping her stock? or are you doing any mods to her? |

Added a fairing to the Road Star a few weeks ago. Never had a fairing or windscreen before, and I have to say I'm fond of it.

I know..I guess I'm just one of those assholes that think if you pay that much you should get some of the modern perks
After I took a trip to Texas at the beginning of March and got to ride a brand new Street Glide with the built in Nav I was sold on that feature..to get on the bike and know it is always ready with GPS is something I fell in love with But like I said I'm an asshole and maybe I should just buy one and get a RAM Mount lol |

We can call it the 4.2 40 Rally or the 13 Inch Members Only Rally |
