The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

actually, honestly, I have no idea WTF that thing is. my wife brought it back from one of her craft fair excursions. I think it's a plant stand.
but, I'd like to think that she bought it as a dinner table for a really tiny person or human-animal hybrid we have living in our garage that I just don't know of. |

just went over the bike top to bottom. bike was filthy....despite the 're-conditioning' the dealer so proudly touted lol.
wash, polish, wax, polished chrome. Realized I like chrome, but hate keeping it clean. she's all cleaned up and looking good now. hopefully the sun comes out and the rain stays away so I can get out a bit on it today. Dealer coming to pick up the Sporty around 3pm.....not sure I can be around to witness that lol. Will probably feel like someone coming to pick up a great dog I've had for the last few years. Nice bike man
That tiny person dinner table your wife bought looks like the perfect stool to sit on and wipe down all that chrome |

funny you should say that. I just now, after a year of having it new in the box, put together one of those mechanics chairs/stools things that rolls around. worth its weight in gold . |
