I sure would have let Rodgers know that I was going to draft Love. Especially since I knew how "complicated" Rodgers could be. Id have reminded him that it is exactly what we did when we drafted him , when they had Favre. Hell, the Chiefs let Alex Smith know they were drafting Mahomes. Its basic respect, and it helps you get out in front of an issue.

Rodgers and Dunn have big mouths when it comes to leaking information for selfish reasons. And that is a stupid thing to pretend to be mad about. |

What I don’t get is you drafted Love to be the future.
Your current QB hates your effing guts and is going to hold out. So just trade the ****ing bastard. Problem solved, circus sideshow averted, and no front office criticism. Plus imagine that haul you’d get to build up and support Love with. |

Devante Parker is going to want DeAndre Hopkins AAV. It would be real easy to do that if Rodgers keeps up the asshole act and stays away. |

The Packers are ****ed unless he shows up and plays. Trading him is team and fanbase death. Him retiring is no better because he only did it because the dumbass board of directors that run the team ****ed it up with him. Either way GB is going down a shit hill and making a big splash in a lake full of piss.

I'm not a big Rodgers fan simply because he is kind of a bitch. The FO should have let him know they were going to draft Love just out of respect. But to throw the kind of hissy-fit that he has about it is just not what I'd expect from a team leader. If I was a GM with some other team, I'd consider that as a big red flag against a trade.

They wasted the prime years of Favre's and Rodgers' careers with subpar coaches like Mike Sherman and Mike McCarthy when it was obvious to everyone that both of those guys needed to go. They run things the exact opposite of the way the Chiefs do. They are timid, conservative, and cheap. They are completely out of touch with the modern NFL. |

Does the lack of a real owner play a part in that?

It absolutely does. Mark Murphy answers to nobody except the fake "shareholders" who bought pretend stock in the Packers. Yet another money grabbing plot to help them build their mini Vatican City around Lambeau.
Murphy is only interested in creating a total "entertainment" experience that rakes in piles of cash. The on-field product needs to be just good enough to keep people spending their money. If you saw what has happened around Lambeau the last 5-6 years, you would understand. In the meantime they are going to lose Rodgers, Adams and Jaire Alexander next year. But hey, who cares? Those $500k per unit condos they put up outside of Lambeau are selling like hot cakes. |

Everyone here seems to focus on Love, but when Rodgers talks he consistently says they are friends and it’s not about Love. He has made comments about the FO’s commitment to winning and putting weapons around him on offense, though. It seems more like the media invented the Love story or blew it way out of proportion because they are mostly tabloid writers these days who focus on sources of drama. His discontent with the coaching staff and the front office have been going on for years and easily explain why he wants out.

Rodgers is a diva, there's no question about that. However, he has carried this organization on his shoulders for years and made a lot of men very rich who don't deserve to be, quite frankly. A lot of people don't understand just how different the Packers are compared to most NFL teams. They basically run this city. The executives are treated like royalty, and it has completely gone to their heads. They've coasted for years because they've been guaranteed 10 wins having a QB like Favre and Rodgers all this time. They never do make that final push to ever get over the top, and that's Rodgers' biggest gripe, and he's 100% right about it. |
