Well the wife put a little effort into this by picking a recipe on YouTube she thought was near hers and a super simple recipe she thought was fine. She worries that her English will be confused to try to put it in writing.
She said any rice stick noodle works fine. She switches between oyster sauce or fish sauce whatever is available. Onion Garlic lots of cabbage snow peas or string beans. One thing is she thinks Ginger root about a teaspoon shaved needs in it. Any protein is fine she likes to season pork in a marinade all night and shrimp but chicken will do. The one she made was smoked pulled pork I had in the freezer. The squeezed lemon or lime fresh at the finish is traditional. That fruit in the first video is hard to find in our area it is traditional but not a deal breaker. She uses packaged chicken stock or broth. This is a easy dish that takes the longest to cut up vegies once you have hang of it 30 minutes tops. Good luck. |

Oh a Wok is not necessary but preferable. She also said if ever in Manilla you will find this by street vendors outside nightclubs. Don't eat that protein maybe rat cat or dog or a bad fish.

Oh I forgot Soy sauce she told me to tell you Kikoman is fine she uses it because its good and easy to find. When available in an asian market she gets a couple bottles of Silver Swan a darker stronger Soy sauce that's a popular product of the Phils. She says it tastes like home.
