Truly insightful stuff Since you are espousing such useful football knowledge....riddle me this Bman. How the **** does T Hill get called for OPI on Kelce’s TD(I called THAT play as the turning point in the game!!) in the 1st qtr when Gronk scored like a jillion TDs with the Hobbits (Edelman, Amendola and Woodhead) doing the EXACT ****ing thing? Admit it.... Bill’s entire offense is based on pick plays that the rest of the League can’t run! Surely someone as “objective” as you can say that...can’t you? Mmm hmm. Thought so. |

BTW wasn't that play in the drive that resulted from non fumble / fumble. If it was not sure I would cry to hard about that one. I thought you were going to talk about how the ref just let defenders take shots at Kelce and ride him like a pony like they use to with Gronk because hes bigger than them. That I buy, teh OPI was blatant and unneeded by Hill. |

I vowed not to go on CP after the loss because it stung so much. I then spoke to a close friend who had just gotten out of a hospital after being close to committing suicide. It put things in some sobering perspective.
This loss sucked and was inexcusable. We found numerous ways to creatively beat ourselves. Our defense isn’t remotely fixed as it lacks consistency but it does show sparks of being effective. I’m still pretty optimistic on this season. A tight win against the Vikings and loss against the Titans doesn’t really change that. |

Fumbles have cost this team three of the four games. This team has fumbled more this year than any year i remember. They may have done more but not like this in the most inopportune time.
With a clean game turnover wise Chiefs win every game they play. Even with this putrid defense. |

I agree totally. Worst loss the Chiefs have had in awhile....only because it's a game the Chiefs SHOULD have won.

Good morning from a Titans fan...
First, for some reason, this team going back to the Jeff Fisher coached days seems to have KC's number. I can't explain it. It's like we are destined to lose against the Colts regardless if the QB is Manning, Luck or some scrub no one has ever heard of. The Titans are the ultimate up-and-down team over the last few years. And this year began with us pretty much closing the door on the Marcus Mariota era, a guy everybody likes but isn't apparently up for the long term starting job. We got Ryan Tannehill as a really good quality backup who could still start and now he's 3-1 and has the full confidence of everyone (at least right now). That 2 point conversion at the end was the first successful one in four years...and he had to literally get his head knocked on a swivel in a classic "me-vs-you" gut check on the goal line. Patrick Mahomes is ridiculous. Former Titans great Eddie George said this week that Mahomes reminds him of Michael Jordan. That jump throw for a TD was insane. Never EVER complain about having that guy on your team. If there is a soft underbelly of the Chiefs, it may be the defense. You can't allow Derrick Henry to run all over you like that. Because he will. And right now he's running angry, literally dragging people along for extra yardage. And Corey Davis, one of our best receivers was out yesterday and the rest of the team still stepped up. The Titans defense is for real which is important since they had their hands full all day trying to contain Mahomes and keep up with Hill, Kelsey & Co, often not succeeding. And our starting corner Malcolm Butler broke his wrist last week and is on IR. Finally, thank you for filling in the gaps on our apathetic fan base by spending lots of money in our city and patronizing our vibrant Lower Broadway tourist district. We've gotten used to this in Nashville since we've been a .500 football club over the last several years. |

Thanks for the write-up, George. It's nice to know another long standing fan/mean old man was pissed after that game.
I'm going to echo one item in your post, the ST play. Not only have we not had a return taken to the house this year, I can't think of a single blocked punt or FG attempt. I'd be hard pressed to think of any great ST play that hasn't been called back for a hold, block in the back, or some other dofus action. That's on Toub. I don't have any problem not using Hill as a PR man, but there has to be someone better than Hardman. Hell, use Pringle, one of our 38 RBs that sit on the bench, or even Sorenson. At least Dirty Dan wouldn't field a punt at the 3. That's on Toub, too. |

I probably say this every week but its still early enough to where we can hopefully get this crap out of our system. if this happens at the end of the season were screwed. we still have time and now we have a bye to think about it.
We gave yesterday away. I am not calling for anyone's head but I wouldn't lose to much sleep over it if anything happened. Great write-up GBF! |
