*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Mahomes is now tied with Tyler Thigpen on the team's all-time passing TDs list with 18. Next up are Dave Krieg and Steve Fuller tied at 22. Will he pass them against the Bengals?

Where will 5000 yds & 50 TD’s put him on the list?

5000 yards would put him at 12th just behind Fuller. 50 TD's would move him to 9th behind Livingston.

Mahomes needs 38 TD passes over 10 games to break Manning’s record. Looking at the schedule, I’d say it’s very doable. Not likely but possibly.

He'd have to average 3.8 every game. Not sure it happens.

Not likely no but he could conceivably throw for 5+ TDs in some of those games. We play some bad, bad football teams.

Ha. He ain't playing in 10 games. Once we've got playoff seeding locked it's to the bench with him.

Mahomes has 18 TDs in 6 games. Alex Smith never had 18 TDs in a season with SF. He’s had 3 in KC

Chiefs have to play against solid offenses for Mahomes to rack up records. Andy has shown over and over again that he lets off the gas when the win is in hand.

Very possible that we may be playing for HFA all the way to the end.

I don’t like sitting starters for 2 straight weeks anyways, so if you have a bye, play em at least a little against Oakland.

It really does. That second half was off the charts and had Pat played a little looser in the first, that game was easily ours.

We would have to check the record books, but it seems to me that every time the Chiefs take that week off before a playoff game, we lose more often than not.
