*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****
IT ****ING HAPPENED
OP UPDATE: Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! Last edited by Dante84; 05-17-2017 at 09:40 AM.. |

NOW any decision the Chiefs made prior to 2013 is irrelevant. Had they decided to keep bringing in FA's and Vets at QB instead of drafting Mahomes? Nope. Nada. And **** right off Chiefs. In other words, they get the pass by breaking the cycle. NO OTHER DECISION is sufficient to earn that pass. Period. If for no other reason on the face of the earth, I will hold Reid, Dorsey, and Veach as the Gold Standard for Chiefs operations going forward. That he can, Mr. Fax. And how DID all of that Eagles shit come to pass anyway? Chip Kelly destroys the team, then Reid's understudy comes in and wins a Super Bowl after ONE season as a head coach? Who the **** does THAT happen to? It is my hope that Mahomes will pick Reid up and carry him across the threshold both ending the "bridesmaid" scenario as well as establishing a new benchmark in hernia-prevention. |

It's a drum beater. It's metaphorical!!!
Think of the drum beater as a 70-yard fly route and a rainbow to Hill. Whereas the drum symbolizes the Patriot D. FAX |

We need something. I miss the chant after touchdowns. "We're gonna beat the hell out of you....."
Now it's just quiet after the initial cheering. If we can't use the pedo guys song, then we need to find another song we can use with the chant. |

I'm not gonna say that was a 'rough drop' as it was a fastball and Ramsey clearly distracted him. It should've been a catch, sure - but Kelce's also saved his ass a time or two and it wasn't exactly Kelce just going full Harris and dropping it for no reason. Ramsey did interfere with Kelce's ability to make the catch by virtue of diving through his field of vision and sure as shit appearing to be ready to make a play on the ball. That was a throw that precious few guys in the league should've even attempted because Mahomes was moving when he let it go and if it has just a little bit of a hump or drifts just a little further up the field, Ramsey houses it. It was an impressive effort and statistically a drop by Kelce, but I'm not gonna just go calling that a 'hidden TD' or anything. It wasn't really all that simple. |
