Marinaded 8 thick boneless pork chops overnight in Tsangs Szechuan Sauce. Then baked them in the oven at 550 for 10 minutes on roasting rack in pan with water and onions, flipped over and finished for 10 more minutes at 350. Reduced pan sauce in pot with more marinade and spices.
Chops were so juicy and all but 1 were so tender. |

I tried a new technique that I saw recently. If you wet marinade your skirt steak, take it out and let air dry in the fridge for a couple hours to get that crispy crust. Makes sense as I do the same for chicken wings but for some reason never put it together for other proteins. |

At the nursing home visiting a relative. Egg sammich and potato soup. Egg sammich is going give me stinky farts.

I've been seeing large discounted packs of short ribs at Fry's marked down from $22-$23 to about $8 and the next time they are there, I'm going to give my crock pot one more try.
I'm going to do low for long and follow a recipe exactly for the correct amount of liquid. |
