The Chiefs are going to keep four running backs.

Watch.

Tremon has tremendous value as the #1 kickoff returner, a gunner on special teams, a decent RB with elite speed who can run gadget plays and in a desperate situation can play corner if needed.

He will make the tean.

I’d rather have Smith taking some touches away from Tyreek and some of the potential hits too. Good experiment.

I’m wondering how good he looked as the Lamar Jackson stand-in that they were like, “ **** it, let’s switch him” as if it’s freshman year of college. At least with McKenzie’s move to Offense that was the plan all along.

He must have really showed out getting to the edge and wiggling in space. It’s one thing to do it on returns where it’s an open field free for all; it’s another to do it with a congested group of dudes on the LOS right in front of you.

I think the high school QB thing is overrated. MOST of these dudes were the QB in high school, because typically a HS team puts their best athlete at the most valuable position.

Having said that, we have watched this team cut third round picks in training camp. If they're moving him to the offense, then he clearly has attributes they are desperate to take advantage of. I highly doubt it will work, or that he'll make the team, but if anyone can do it, it's Reid.

Reid + Speed = dirty deeds.

Damn, our cap is going to be tight when Mahomes gets paid.

We're going to have to cut bait with a lot of players.

We do have some money we can dump that isn't really needed...For example I can find nearly 10 million dollars in backup safeties and a punter.

The Chiefs are probably also thinking the cap will rise significantly with a new CBA.

We haven't ever really seen him run in the open field though, so it's hard to say.

They are going out of their way to try to get him on the roster, those bottom of the roster dudes should watch out.
