Trying to use up leftover ingredients, made a medeterranian pasta. Spaghetti, marinated artichoke hearts, olive mix, garlic, lemon juice and feta cheese with boneless skinless chicken thighs and various herbs.

Here's a tip: shred a carrot or two REALLY FINE on the finest grate and saute them with the minced onions and garlic in EVOO when you start and skip adding sugar. Much better natural sweetness!!! |

Tri tip with chimchurri, smoked scalloped potatoes and some air fried broccoli which obviously took a 3rd place on the plate.

Got my hands on some guanciale, so when in Rome, make carbonara or something.

Took the wife out fancy dining tonight. We went to Church's and both had the smokehouse meal. Overall 4.19/10.

Post it up, probably would have used shallots and maybe sun dried tomatoes but those weren't in the fridge/pantry and I was trying to use up stuff.

Made these the exact same way last night, except ketchup instead of mustard in the sauce... they were AWESOME, you can never have enough caramelized onions

It was clean out the freezer day
Grilled some chicken thighs with YardBird, pepper and chipotle chili powder (for the win, fools). Wife steamed some broccoli. I didn’t eat the tater tots she cooked for the kids so I got a steam pack of mixed veggies from the freezer, thawed and sautéed them. For that I put in some smoked paprika cumin salt pepper and minced garlic. I didn’t have the pan hot enough to get any char on them (for the loss) but they were still damned tasty. Not pictured: strawberries Last edited by Buehler445; 06-19-2022 at 07:18 PM.. Reason: Forgot the pic. |
