Yeah, inline v6 and everything I've read says the 320hp is probably more like 350.

Bearcat's isn't one of them but some of these new turbos do not have the best of sounds coming from their exhausts. Really helps with efficiency and performance though. Nearly all German performance/luxury cars are turbo which now sadly includes Porsche.

After I did the muffler delete I got that low rumble I was looking for. I have parties and the people want to see the car. I'm not taking it out so I'll just open the garage door and start it. It is loud as ****. Give it a rev or two and it smells like a race car in the garage people say.

My pickup has a V-8 and I'd still rather drive the Grand Prix I had in college with a 3.8L V6. |

I test drove a 328, couldn't get past the turbo lag... wanted to try out a 228, but once you drive a 235, there's no going back.

Thought the electric steering was too twitchy with complete lack of feedback which wasn't present in a 6 series I had a chance to drive with the new steering. The I4 turbo engine seemed to have a lot of punch for what I was while in sport mode but found the auto transmission in that mode very annoying. Caused it to always be awkwardly high in the revs even when you let of the gas for a while which was likely to deal with the turbo lag you noted. Long winded way to say I agree with you. |

I just don't need it. I like to go fast which is a function of getting power to traction. No matter how it gets there. |

You harass me about tractors but that is probably why I feel the way I do about engine noise. I'd had a lifetime of engine noise (correlated with 5MPH) for a lifetime by the time I was 16. I just don't need it.
