I've been on a Chinese Dim Sum kick.
I've eaten about 150 dumplings, pot stickers, and other small plates in the last 2 weeks. |

I had some time at lunch so I decided to cook up some shit for lunch.
Did some brats - Wife had done some this way, hers were better than mine, but still pretty good. The strawberries looked good, but they weren't. Added sugar. Did some brussells. This was probably the best part of the meal. Roasted them up like normal, but added some chipotle chile powder - which makes everything better . They were good as hell. Rice was just shitty minute rice, but whatever. |

Called in sick yesterday, which is rare. Thanks 3 year old who shares EVERYTHING!
Came back today to a "dinner bag" from a coworker's Mexican mother who owns a side food business. Al Pastor better than I've ever had! Lettuce, onion, cilantro and street tortillas too. |

That looks awesome Lew. Mexican done right is a million times better than traditional French or Italian cuisine. My opinion of course.

Is it chicken, is it pork?
Who knows? Either way, you can still eat it with a spork. |
