The biggest lesson I've learned in Veach's time here is that I don't have any ****ing idea what he's going to do. And in the end, it'll be great.

Nor should he take a discount. He played on a 4th Rounder contract without complaining. Now's his chance at a big payday. Does not mean he demanding market resetting money, but more about getting paid significantly more than he is right now.

He will return to KC for less than we think. Teams know he wants to return to KC. |

Assuming a Sneed trade does end up happening, I hope we can retain Chris and then use an extra draft pick to invest at defensive tackle. Let Chris groom the next guy there.

They’re tampering as we speak, Jones’ goofball agents should know his market very soon if not already and then make a decision off of it around March 11

I'm just not sure he gets to a point where that's a GOOD investment for the Chiefs. It's possible. I really like him. But he's got to get beyond consistent/high motor/strong pass rusher territory and into "quick win" territory more consistently. |

I think they'll pay him like a foundational piece if they think he can be a foundational piece. If not, they'll let someone else pay him like that.

Based on what he's done thus far, I don't see how you could make an argument he's not or atleast that he wouldn't ask for that.
