The Motorcycle Discussion Thread
I figure there are some motorcycle guys/gals on CP, so I thought we could have a place to talk all things Motorcycles.
Tire Mount and Balance Prices (as of 10/29/16) Prices based on if you remove the wheels yourself and bring the wheels and new tires with you: Cycle Gear - $35 per wheel if you buy tires from them. $58 per wheel if you buy tires elsewhere Rawhide - $65 per wheel (assuming it would be the same at other HD dealers. they book it at 1/2 hr per wheel) C R Cycle Tires (DeSoto) - $30 per wheel Cheapest I've found my Michelin Commander II's. Seem like they have good prices on other brands too. http://www.jakewilson.com - Free 3 day shipping on orders over $75 Last edited by Dayze; 10-29-2016 at 09:02 PM.. |

Nice ride. Yamaha should have left the design of that bike alone, the second gen VMAX lost most of the appeal of the original, aside from the power. It's too big, gets horrible gas mileage, and is too expensive.
I rode a 2012 VMAX and Diavel back to back and was left wondering why anyone would buy the VMAX. |

Nice! And congrats! Yeah, this winter weather is killing me in two ways. One, because I've been sick as a dog since Sunday and two, because I'm ready for Spring riding.

We are going to go check one of these out Saturday.
Super Lite, about 1800 lbs, toy hauler. We just want something to keep us dry when we camp. Very economical. They have a demo-model at 8K. http://www.microlitetrailer.com/ |

I ordered a bigger bag for my windshield, a pair of Saddlemen Saddlebag Guard bags..that mount on the bar in front of the saddlebags, and a Burly Easyboy Lite Clutch for my bike that will be getting here in the next day or 2
Cant wait to get it and start putting it all on the bike on a warmer day..I'm excited to try out the Easyboy and see if it makes a difference on clutch pull that all the reviews I read say it does..I will post more pictures and when it warms up let you guys know about the Easyboy if you are curious |
