Fish is a huge part of what we do offensively. He's great in pass pro and is a hell of a run blocker (see: Hardman's sweep last night where he and Reuter were down field blocking). We WILL miss him.

That being said, Andy and EB have two weeks. Veach has been nails at identifying talent so that the "next man in" is at least competent. Hell, Wylie on a bum wheel looked good last night.

We'll have a game plan and we'll execute it. Somehow, someway, Red is going to use this against TB.

So just doing the maths. Rankin and Durant have actually played nfl snaps at tackle in the league. Prince Tego is talented but has no experience yet. Meanwhile Wylie played against the Saints and done well from what I recall chiefs talking heads saying.

It's gonna be two choices.

1. Stick Remmers at LT, put Wylie at RT and Wiz at guard.

2. Stick Rankin at LT and leave the line as it was.

The great thing is we have the experience of the bills and saints road games where we had new lines...and the new line will have two weeks to prepare which is an advantage.

Doesn't sound like Mitchell will be making a heroic return.

“I can’t tell you I’m that optimistic about it,” head coach Andy Reid said on Monday, via Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star.

Mike Remmers has been starting at right tackle in place of Schwartz, and Reid called him “dirty tough” on Monday.

As far as Fish's recovery... He should be good for next season. He is not a sprinter so there should not be as long of recovery for him.

Fish is probably going to miss time next year with 9+ months recovery.

He just carries that unrealistic 1-1 pick expectation...it'll be with him forever, no matter how solid he is.

Yeah, he's not really a 1-1 pick, and that class overall was ass.

That being said, it's not a awful pick by any means. Luke Joeckel busted hard and was out of the league in 2017.

Lane Johnson was another guy that could had possibly go 1-1 as well, and he turned out pretty well, but definitely would had an unrealistic 1-1 pick expectations. Dion Jordan didn't amount to anything. Ansah was solid as well, but also would had that unrealistic 1-1 pick expectations as well.

That 2013 class would have looked a whole a lot different in the first round. The best player in that round 1 was DeAndre Hopkins, and he went 27th.

The flip side of that 2013 class overall was, Travis Kelce. Other than Fisher and Kelce, not a single player from that class is still on this roster.

Anybody really watch our back-up O-line in Week 17? Who played at LT/RT and how did they look? I see Durant was in for 100% of the snaps but pro football reference just says "OL".

Durant played guard his likely NFL position, Rankin played LT and Patrick Omameh played RT.

Awesome, thanks. Any takeaways? I don't remember them getting abused, but I wasn't very dialed into that one.

He did okay. He's definitely not an OT in the NFL, his feet are way too slow to be out in space.

But he could be a road grader type OG. He's HUGE, so there's that. He probably won't be pulling much.
