Shaun Wade at 136? I'm gonna stick up for my boy and say their rankings are ****ing whack.
6'1" 195 and runs a 4.41, physical. Can play man, play zone, gets home on blitzes, plays the run extremely well, and is an outstanding tackler. He has the versatility to play the slot. Etc. Ohio State CBs are well respected by the NFL. He needs some work in press and disrupting high-point catches, both coming from lack of game experience on the outside. He's been compared to Minkah Fitzpatrick who went at 11, and honestly, he might be best as a FS. As a corner, I don't think he lasts past the end of 2. If a team wants him as a FS and he shows willingness in interviews, he could go in the 1st. No way, just no ****ing way, he goes in the late 4th. |

Just ran the first 3 rounds. There were 7 OT taken before our pick; 6 WR gone; and 4 Edge players selected before the Chiefs pick. There were, however, no DT taken before our pick, so...
1. DT Christian Barmore 2. CB Shaun Wade 3. Edge Janarius Robinson Bummer to come out of the first three rounds without an OT or a WR, but maybe we can build a defensive line capable of getting pressure without blitzing. Or maybe I'm an idiot. |

Vera-Tucker is going before #31, just saying. He probably goes in the late teens.

Lots of trades, the OL value never got to me really in any round. Kind of sucked so I went BPA mostly instead.

Passed on Bateman to take Mayfield, hoping to find value at WR in the 2nd or 3rd but it ended up that DE was where it was at. Offensive line was deep well into the middle rounds. Didn't really address WR but this draft shores up both lines in a big way.

I did 10 drafts, no trades, round 1 only.
There was a significant run on WR's and OT's in almost every one I did. 6 WR's, and 3-4 OT's. |

I've been waiting for Jenkins to fall to 31, just to see how I could work him in. I ended up with probably my favorite mock to date.

I don't have time, but it would be cool to run a round 1 mock 100 times and see which players are most likely to be there.
Of course, everything will change after FA and visits, so, probably not worth it just yet. |
