Any Bourbon drinkers out there?
I've heard some good things about Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
http://www.buffalotrace.com/ Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order. Thanks |

I’m not sure what all they’ve got at my liquor store I didn’t look that close. It’s weird how stuff is so different regionally. I can get some stuff here all the time and my buddies in kc can never find it and vice verse And I never answered from a while back when I had the papaya I think it was the 8 or 10 It was good but for what I paid meh |

High West has some great stuff (many blends, many sourced) but still fantastic stuf. Their basic stuff is a good place to start. Double Rye and American Prairie Bourbon as good starting points for most.
If it was $40-45 I'd be all over it. Since it's double the cost (here), it's nothing special |

I was able to get my hands on a bottle of Dram last fall. It's terrific stuff. Gonna try and get another one this year.

Opened a bottle of Jefferson's Reserve last night to sip on while I was revisiting Lonesome Dove. I am now revisiting the Jefferson's Reserve.

Anyone ever had Wathen's? I feel like it's the poor man's Blanton's and much easier to get.

One man’s opinion. I think Blanton’s is great and I’m guessing I’m not alone since it’s so hard to get. I’m going with Corner Creek tonight which is fantastic for the price if you can find it.

Got lucky enough to find a bottle of Weller Antique today and seems like Buff Trace finally increased the MSRP to the $50 range. I’m fine at that price point but it’s not the crazy bargain it was at around $30.
