It's so motherloving cold I cooked some chicken in a skillet. Put some adobo sauce and a bunch of salt, and got a respectable sear on it despite teflon. Tasted wonderful after a short rest.
Pablo inspired me to do Brussell Sprouts. Because healthy right? These were frozen so I didn't have to prep them much. Olive oil. A bunch of salt, and we cooked up some bacon and threw it in too. The thing that moved the needle though was crushed red pepper. That moved the things from boring to phenomenal. Looks like shit on the plate, probably ****ed with it too much. But was pretty damned good. Mandarin orange is mandarin orange. Then I had to clean up I really need the weather to loosen up it's death grip so I can grill again. It's cold. I'm having chili. This chili will be made with beans, tomatoes, onions, hamburger meat and various spices.
It will be cooked on a stove and, afterwards, be served with cheese and sour cream. Pickles and crackers are optional. |

3 pound chuck roast currently cooking in beef broth and french onion soup mix, and white cheddar shells with chopped bacon, fresh spinach, and diced tomato added
Total comfort food for a bitterly cold sunday |

Hopefully, in this case, my recollection is right, but didn't he get mad about something?
Seem to recall someone flipping him shit one too many times. Not great, but better than dead. That said, I can't speak authoritatively. |

Buzz? He didn’t seem the type to get mad. IIRC the last I remember him talking about being busy.
I miss a ton of shit though. He could have gotten mad. |

Been bored and on a cooking roll the last two days
Last night was jambalaya from scratch with sausage and not one but two bags of giant tiger shrimp... not gonna lie I have this dish down COLD, I'm basically an honorary Cajun at this point And tonight is gonna be chicken fried ribeyes, with buttermilk and garlic mashed taters, and sweet corn... I've done this before with cube steak, but never a real ribeye, can't waaait |
