Always love when a win like that is followed by an off day.

Just wanted to give the in person report. Salvy was magnificent tonight. It was one of the best royals games I've ever seen in person. Caught my first ball in 40 years, saw my favorite player ever get robbed only to witness in person the exact hit that sent us on our championship journey. Why you walk Santana to get to Perez is idiotic.

Yes there are serious problems with our starting pitchers, salvy is making chicken salad currently and really bringing the tough love. We are going to be okay. Need a few more arms. I bet we make the playoffs this year as long as we keep improving.

It's possible we can win half of them. Even less than half and we're contending. It's a tough stretch but you have to respect the spirit and Matheny has yet to show his ass yet. This week junis was #2, due to the double header, just like last Saturday and singer gets a road start with rest. Nice job Matheny.

Tough series against the Rays, but STILL waking up to the Royals in first place this morning!
Great way to start the day! An off day and then on to Detroit. Let’s take care of business, boys. |

Junis sucked balls and the Royals win anyway. I love it! I want him out of the starting line up and into the bullpen. He's a pure ace from the bullpen through and through. With all of our SP potential in the minors, I don't him having a lucky year from SP and the FO thinking he should stick there.

What a game last nite. Idk why Salvy jogged to 2B and get tagged out on a ball that close to being gone. I can’t recall seeing anyone do that

He was wrong and he should not have stopped running full speed. But that is what he did. Honestly, in real time, I thought that it hit the metal railing as well. But on replay it was clear that it didn't. He took responsibility for it and stated that he was wrong to stop running. |
