I'm pretty sure he can get a speeding ticket and still be a team leader.

Okay so let's look at RB's....

Damien Williams
Carlos Hyde
Darwin Thompson

Darrell Williams
Tremon Smith

Tre Smith has 4.38 speed and was one of the top returners in the league last year. I wonder if he keeps a roster spot over TE 3.

I guess you could use him as that gadget guy just getting the ball in his hands a few times per game, but really, that's what you've got the WR's and Rbs for.

Seems like a desperate end move to see if shit can stick or not.

Jesus are we just going to have the fastest team in NFL History and run 4 Verticals all day, with the occasional screen to another super fast guy, and then toss to Kelce when there's nothing 70 yards down field?

How in the blue **** do you defend this offense??

I think you'll see him traded to a team that needs a returner. You see those 'well, we're gonna cut this guy anyway' trades every year. Last year it netted us Ward. In years past it's cost us a couple of decent safeties.

They're complete crap shoots but sometimes they work out nicely. He's just redundant here.

Yeah but I feel like Darwin Thompson will fill that role.

Maybe Carlos Hyde is a surprise cut in favor of tiny fast guys? I'd seriously doubt that though.
