Andy Reid called me, and he asked CP to fix the offense.

I think we can all agree the offense has not been up to par this season.

At this point, there's only so much we can do about it. Our best WR got injured and is missing the season, our best RB is out until December, our LT situation is messy and our stud TE is looking his age.

So, is this who we are now? Is 30 points a game a distant memory?

What can be done?

(Andy Reid is lurking in this thread, so make sure you're on your best behavior.)

Things aren't going well? Patrick is frustrated? Missing open receivers? Odd playcalling on 3rd and short? ****ing Bienemy/Nagy is ruining everything. Look how Mahomes talks to Bienemy, he clearly doesn't like him. Get him out.

Maybe instead of looking at the OC who has always been more of an understudy to Reid, we should look at the league wide defensive shift that is stifling offenses more than it has in over a decade.
on the other hand Bienemy wasn't good in Washington and UCLA is apparently also really bad

buuut I think you're right

Scoring is down, last week was like some decade high or something for FGs, I think this offense only gets better through the season

we're better than last year, last year it was a struggle to get to 20 pts and look how the season ended

I don't think Skyy went out on a route? It feels like every time he saw the field he was blocking on the end of the line.

They created a new category for slot CBs in the Pro Bowl. They should do the same for blocking WRs. Skyy Moore should get consideration. He made some great blocks yesterday.

Yeah I think he knew he was open and was past the first down marker so he settled down in the zone. He just stopped at the exact time Mahomes decided he was going to throw it. It was bad luck more than anything.

Yeah, nobody here knows which plays are called by Reid and which by Nagy. The popular consensus is the plays that work are called by Reid. The ones that don't, especially in the red zone, are called by Nagy.

That’s disgusting. It’s not all the offensive line issues either. We are absolutely letting teams dictate our offense and unsurprisingly we keep making self inflicted mistakes because constantly relying on 12-15 play drives to score is hard.

Eventually a hold is called. A ball is tipped. QB makes a bad throw. A play call that might have scored if it was our 30th snap is sniffed out easily at the 50th snap (Rice middle screen where he got dinged). And on and on.

Looks like Moore's been in for 30 snaps, 17 of which were passing plays, 13 were runs.

Not sure what the typical breakdown of our WR snap share is, but that's probably not enough to demonstrate a genuine 'tell'.

He's run routes on 16 of those 17 snaps (no idea what he did on the 17th as he doesn't appear to have a pass blocking snap in there; probably just basic Skyy stuff where just stood there with his head up his ass so PFF didn't know what to do with it).

Again - there's just no reason to dedicate any further mental energy to the guy.

He's a non-entity.

That is vintage Nagy ball.

It was assumed that was a product of Alex Smiff during Nagy’s previous tenure as Chiefs OC.

I mean I'm watching it because the Chiefs are the team and this is their era...but if this was happening say in 2012 I'd be out.

There is nothing fun about this, elite QB's have to play like game managers. There are very very few big plays unless one of the teams really really sucks or has a bad day.

There aren't great defensive plays either they just hope a team gets a penalty to stall them out.

The quality of the game is just shit for the most part.
