Will do, just thought I would let you know in case you had other irons in the fire. I haven't been paying a whole lot of attention for a handful of weeks. Have only had the chance to check in and set a lineup and that's about it mostly. Was in Hawaii for work for a few weeks and am now down in Mississippi. Can't wait to get back home. Luckily I will get in in time to see the game on Sunday (first one live since the opener). Shouldn't have to miss another home game though......ah the wonder that is Arrowhead on a Sunday morning.

Crazy thing happened in our league. Anyone ever see this happen before?
Going into Monday night Team A is up by 1.5 points with only a defense left to play. Team B has no remaining players left so Team A pulls it's defense as to avoid the possibility of putting up a negative number. Now Thursday ESPN updates the scores and adds 2 points to Team B's total giving him the win by .5 pts, where as team A would have won if the score was updated on Monday and left the Giants defense in since they scored 4 pts. |

I've seen it before, but obviously not very often. You roll the dice by bencing players in a matchup that close, but I would have benched them as well.

Since updates generally take place the following day if there are any you would think you were safe from any coming, especially 4 full days after the game ended.

If you were to look at ESPNs site, I'm about 98% positive it says somewhere on there that "results are not considered official until Saturday". I know it used to.
In one of my leagues last year they changed the outcome of one game on a Saturday evening last year after week 14 and we had a team go from in the playoffs to out of them due to the change. He wasn't happy, but it is what it is. |

well I always add up what my players/defense/kickers get since ESPN has ALWAYS had faulty live scores until Tuesday when they do all of the updates...
Defenses are the worst...the Chiefs were at 13 on Sunday and Monday when I knew they'd be at 15 on Tuesday...they never factored in the 2 points for Gafford's fumble recovery... and that shit happens with 10-20 players every week. |

You guys don't have minimum requirements? In our league....you are REQUIRED to start a player at each position. You aren't allowed to not start any one position.

No, we don't have requirements. Never thought about having requirements. How do you monitor something like that. Say my qb is on a bye and never update my roster and don't have one on my bench, what happens then.

Yeah, I have been in and out today. I really have not had much time to look at options right now, just the emails on my phone, I will get back in touch with you later on tonight.

I'm looking to move some solid players for guys that actually suit up this week. Take a look and let me know if we can work something out.

And just because they're on a bye....doesn't mean you can't start them. You just have to START a player for each position. |
