What's tiresome is your constant whinging about Remigio. Remigio ****ing sucks too.
Nobody is whining about remigio like he is going to be a superstar. In fact most of us would rather trade for someone so we can get rid of skyy without needing to elevate remigio. It is about taking Skyy off the field knowing that bad things happen every time you use him and that the risk of trying someone different who knows the system and plays the same role is extremely small. And your only attack against the idea is based on zero actual game evidence and solely on the notion that veach and Reid know better even though in this case they clearly did not know better based on how long they’ve kept skyy around.

We are impatient because we know skyy keeps getting protected and we just want that experiment to be over. That all it takes is one fluke good performance and we’re back to months of trying to make skyy work again. If remigio spells the official end of Skyy Moore it is a huge win even if he doesn’t catch a single pass

agree! I'm good with Ross too! and we may see one of them activated this week because juju is out this week. We must give someone else a chance to step up.

I think our attachment to him is way more about Reid liking system guys, sometimes being loyal to a fault and the front office trying to preserve his draft position/salary and/or not wanting to disrupt our wr depth while the room is in chaos. There just isn’t any logical performance benefit whatsoever where this makes sense

Skyy had no + NFL traits entering that draft. I remember it. The best you could say was he had a nice release in college and my thoughts were his best option in the NFL was to win in the first 5 yards.

Now that we can see that isn't there either there is nothing left to hope for or dream on.

Wish we had taken Shakir out of Boise state instead. Not a superstar but a nice #2 or #3 you can roll out there and use.

He was a second round pick that many talent evaluators felt was a very good prospect. I remember Steve Smith saying Sky would be the best WR in that draft! Whether you like Steve Smith or not, a lot of people thought Sky was a good WR.

It makes no sense that he has regressed so far that he cant even catch a football.

Both of his recent drops, especially yesterdays, he was open. I am not defending the guy, in fact I cringe when I see a ball going his way.

Im just saying they must see something positive in the guy at practice.

Otherwise its just stupid to have him active or on the roster at all. None of us believe this team is ran by stupid people.
On every other position other than WR yeah. But they have been awful at evaluating talent at WR.

Kadarius Toney was one of the worst receivers Ive ever seen. Now Skyy Moore has taken his place as the worst WRs in the league that gets snaps. Justyn Ross.. awful...doesn't even know the plays and assignments after almost 3 years. Cornell Powell never panned out. Hardman has been ok but super meh. He couldn't even get on the field for a worse team.

Sometimes you can call a spade a spade. Most of it is probably just bad luck not bad process. You arent going to hit everytime and when you get unlucky with acquisitions things can snowball. Luckily we have an offensive genius, Kelce and Mahomes to bail out our awful WR corps.

You didn't like Rice in the 2nd round? I assume that also means you don't like Worthy?

After the skyy mistake we’ve nailed it in the draft with WRs. Veach has knocked it out of the park. We need to make the clear distinction between the mistakes we made last year where we got a little cute trying to build a value city wr room versus this year where we did the right things but just got really unlucky

He fooled us all......

Not all of us. But that doesnt matter now. Nor did it ever. You hit on some, and miss on others.

But, what you absolutely should not do is double down and make a blown pick worse, by keeping them on the roster.

Why were you guys so excited about a smallish WR coming out of a small school? Was he that good in college?

Exactly. No team hits on every WR pick.

But once you actually see your player on an NFL field it is easy to see he does not have it.

He should have been cut a long time ago. Chris Conley was a better player on a practice squad last year than Sky Moore.

Everyone loves Rice. He's been the guy. But honestly it should be pretty difficult to really screw up a 1st or 2nd round WR with Reid, Mahomes and Kelce in the fold.

Worthy looks like he will progress into something but it is early. He's certainly no Rice. Hopefully he can be a Hollywood Brown and then some.
