Week 1 Derrick Henry is also not going to be the same as Week 20 Derrick Henry, at his age.
He's going to be a steamroller in September. We'll see where that goes by the time January rolls around. |

In the fantasy football community he's known for being a slow starter, turning it up once it gets cold out.

Assuming Chase ends his hold-in, the Bengals are still without Mixon. Zack Moss and Chase Brown are their RBs. Plus they lost Tyler Boyd, and Mike Gesicki is their starting TE. I could see the Bengals taking a step backwards this season.

And their OLine isn’t the greatest, especially with a Joe Burrow coming back from a season ending injury.

Imagine if Russ struts into Pile High and fists Payton in that home opener

Unfortunately, I don't think it happens. First off, Russ is beyond terrible, and Douche Peyton knows his limitations. I think they'll know exactly how to defend him. Plus, it's their home opener and that thin air is a real factor this time of year. The Donx will also be amped up for their opener. Also, between Russ and Fields, I don't think Pittsburgh has a QB. If that game was in Pittsburgh, I take the Steelers, because of the defense. But it's not. But still going to laugh now.... Last edited by TEX; Today at 06:25 AM.. |

Yeah, that would be a total failure if it happened... just like week 1 when Russ returned to SEA and lost. PIT at Denver historically does not do well, with 2009 being the last time they beat Denver in Denver. Not that it means anything when you compare teams now vs 2 years ago, much less a decade ago.
I had very little faith in Russ while in Denver and reading what is happening in PIT, it doesn't sound like things have improved there with him or Fields. |

That cheap thin air wins them 1 or 2 a year they normally wouldn't win and there's no arguing this

I think back in the day it had more of an advantage than now... athletes are focused year round on training and being the best. There's an adjustment to the altitude that is needed, which is why a lot of athletes train in higher altitudes. I don't think it impacts the outcome of games like it would have back in the 70s/80s. |

The Ravens lost three 363 starts on the OL with not much veteran replacement, it's reasonable to expect the OL some time to gel. With a bonus week, I expect the Chiefs will be more than ready for them.
The Bengals game will likely come down to simple 1 on 1 matchups...can the CBs handle the size and ability of Chase and Higgins...could be a preview of the entire season's frustration if they can't. Hopefully the home crowd and a few extra prep days are enough to get them off to a 2-0 start. |

Last year he went for 150 in week 19. He doesn’t get hurt (much) and can afford to lose a half step because he’s a LB wearing a rb jersey. Now with Malik ****ing Willis offense pretty one dimensional but paired with Lamar that offense could cook.
