New build house, with it, came a 1986 manufactured furnace.
We recently bought a new build home in CA and we had a home inspection completed and were advised our furnace while new was manufactured in 1986
should I be concerned? Why would they not use a furnace from the 21st century at the very least? Is there a law in CA that prevents new build homes from using such outdated equipment?

Well one page of my home inspection said 1986, now another says 2023. Im confused now damnit. Fail thread.
