Had a feeling this would happen.
For all of CEH's issues, he does know the offense well and has a pair of working hands, which are two traits we seems to be short on. |

That sucks so much for Hardman. I wouldn’t mind bringing him back at a reasonable number.
If not, best of luck to him. I’ll never forget the energy from that big return in the comeback against the Texans. |

CEH did have 100+ yards rushing on like 12 carries vs the Eagles last year… if that means anything for now (probably doesn’t).

I would think this is more of a security blanket than plans to feature him in any way. Chiefs can't go into this game with the possibility of having no skill position players again.

We're going to use the shit out of any RB capable of catching a pass in this game I think. Philly just brings a hard and fast rush so I expect a lot of quick hitters and screens. Going back to Reid's roots on this one.
It sucks Mecole is out because losing his sweep ability and quick hitter routes might hurt a bit. Gaining CEH in return is a good thing I think. I hope Toney (health) and Skyy (grows up in the Super Bowl) are up for the task on those sweeps and WR screens. We need it. |

Much as I’m not a fan of ceh we haven’t been good in short yardage. And I actually think he’s a decent short yardage option. He’s small and can hide behind the OL and he doesn’t have to overthink. Just hit the hole.

As much as people rag on Clyde one fact that cannot be denied is In our three most impressive wins this season (Cards, Bucs and Niners) Clyde was a HUGE factor in those games. He was also our second leading TD getter when he got injured and just knows how to score In the redzone. It wouldn't surprise me if Andy has a few tricks up his sleeve involving Clyde tbh.
