Very sorry to hear that. I can't offer much info on pain meds but I hope you find something that helps.

Actually happened at your fairgrounds. That gravel is hard! All I remember is pulling on a handle so hard I pulled it completely out and falling then my daughter waking me up asking if I need an ambulance. I’m doing ok, still able to teach shop class for two more days until schools out. Just hoping someone on here knows some killer pain killer secret. The Tylenol 10million they gave me does not like my stomach.

Thank you for making me feel better about my broken vertebrae pinching a nerve feel better in 2009.
Ouch. i took Lortabs like candy and hydrocodone that i got addicted too but I really liked it. Morphine may help if doctors let you but see what the doctor can get you that's your best bet. I assume you're going need surgery that sounds complicated. |

These are Opioids your doctor can prescribe to you. Just have to be on the safes side and not abuse them they come in pill form.
Codeine Fentanyl (Actiq, Abstral, Duragesic, Fentora) Hydrocodone (Hysingla, Zohydro ER) Hydrocodone/acetaminophen (Lorcet, Lortab, Norco, Vicodin) Hydromorphone (Dilaudid, Exalgo) Meperidine (Demerol) Methadone (Dolophine, Methadose) Morphine (Kadian, MS Contin, Morphabond) Oliceridine (Olynvik) Oxycodone (Oxaydo, OxyContin) Oxycodone and acetaminophen (Percocet, Roxicet) Oxycodone and naloxone Yeah it was Codeine i got addicted too but worked better than Lortabs but then they cut me off of Codeine that sucked. |

If it is legal where you are try some FECO. It is the only thing that has helped with my nerve pain other than morphine at the ER. I tried hydrocodone, oxycodone, tramadol and gabapentin. None of that took away any pain. Got some FECO and pain got low enough to sleep.

What are you taking now?
Non pharmaceutical techniques include: mindfulness, meditation, distraction, ice, heat. OTC meds Don’t forget topical Meds like diclofenac, icy hot, etc. NSAIDS like aleve, ibuprofen Tylenol THC After that you have the different prescription meds. Prescription NSAIDS (don’t combine with otc NSAIDs) Opiates (tramadol, hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc) Steroids Muscle Relaxers Others like gabapentin, lyrica, cymbalta There really isn’t much else. |
