Hey TLO, I’m not smart enough to post a link, but Joe Rogan had a fellow on his podcast awhile back who is a sleep specialist. I believe the episode was #1109. Search for that and listen to it. Your question will be answered. It was one of the most interesting things I’ve ever listened to.

In college they told us to keep a pad of paper and a pencil on your nightstand. Sometimes when you were programming and having issues you would dream the fix.
Worked for me a few times. Sometimes still does. |

I often have a dream where I see myself standing in some sort of sun god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at me.

I was surprised to learn a few years ago that roughly 15% of people can only dream in black and white. (I dream in color)

Chantix is an amazing drug that gives a person some wild, crazy vivid dreams for months while you are taking it.

I remember about 1 dream per decade over the last 20 years or so. I almost never recall dreams. I know I have them because, you know, science and all but I never remember them. Last one I can remember was a few years back. I was on a speed boat on the ocean and my son, 8 or 9 at the time, was on another one parallel to the one I was on. Suddenly, he stuck his head in the ocean and it was promptly bitten off by a shark. I immediately woke up and laughed my ass off because it was such a ridiculous premise, I couldn't even be afraid or freaked out. Just started laughing at the absurdity of it.
That's it. Nothing since. Good thing, bad thing, I don't know but I just never seem to remember them. |
