I hung in. I Just threw my remote and gave thanks when it was over. Three episodes of that mess building to that finale? Ooooff. And of course it ended the way it did, lol. At least Osyrra was a hot Orion.

Third season had a lot of promise, interesting setup, cool future. But it just sucked, in practice.
I liked the first two seasons, I never had a problem with Burnham or the surrounding cast. But what I realized during this season is that the show isn't about Burnham changing and developing as a character. It's about everything else changing around her, because apparently she's just fine the way she is. No reason for her to grow. None at all. It's just not a great message, and I don't find the show all that engaging anymore |

I skipped episode 12 and watched 13, it was fine. I mean it wasn't good, but my expectations were so low I wasn't let down.
Going into this season I had been cautiously optimistic about Trek moving forward. Even though the season 2 finale of Discovery shit the bed, the season as a whole was decent, and I was looking forward to the Pike show. Season 2 of Picard had hired some solid writers that know Star Trek. But after this, ****. I just don't think it's going to get better as long as Kurtzman is involved. |

This is Janet Kidder. She played Osyrra. Brunettes are my kryptonite.

I stuck it out because I loved Star Trek back in the day.
1st season sucked. Hated what they did to Klingons. 2nd season was saved as watchable when Pike come into the story line. The final battle was some fantastic VFX work. This 3rd season was a mess. To much wrong to even bother typing it up. I sure hope whoever is responsible for season 3 has nothing to do with the Pike spin off. |

Worst cast ever assembled. Not one person that I care about, like, or value, and absolutely not a single character that I admire or identify with. It's like somebody took a bunch of misfits and freaks from a boystown coffee shop and dropped them on a space ship. |

Trek desperately needs a Favreau/Filoni type to save it.
